I made it up from a bunch of copies of the DAZ Studio snake model. Thanks!

The model works in either. I remember, it came with two skins, and I think it's bunches better than the poser snake.

[link] You have to be logged in. They've added exactly one freebie since I first looked nearly two years ago, but what's there is free.

I rendered them in Poser this time. The difference is striking! They look almost real! In DAZ Studio renders, they've looked kind of flat and lifeless!

Yeah, poser is a HUGE upgrade from Daz. But then, looking at the price tags, it's hardly suprising! lol! The rendering machine is much stronger with Poser.

I may have found a way around that. I need to do a bit more investigation. From what I understand, you might be able to use a different renderer from inside of DAZ. It's just a plug-in, anyway. Now that I've seen the difference, it's worth a look.

So far I haven't found the plug-in. But I did find that some render engines do only that, with the scene files.

Oy! When you originally said shiny, I thought you were referring to how shiny the snakes were...:giggle: I just realized that you might have been using another word for great, or something.

In DAZ, it seems to hinge on the 3Delight render engine. I might sneak in the back door, and use the same names on another renderer.
